Rain or shine, the region's largest farmers’ market can be found at the City Market every Saturday and Sunday year-round. More than 140 vendor stalls burst with bedding plants, fruits, vegetables, herbs, fresh baked goods and other sweets, cut flowers and crafts made by local artisans.
At the City Market, you will find the finest produce and many organic foods all fresh from Missouri and the surrounding region.
Great benefits and value can be found here while also supporting local farmers!

Cooking Matters Class
March 23 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Thursday, repeating until April 28, 2017
As part of the No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in America, Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters teaches participants to shop smarter, use nutrition information to make healthier choices and cook delicious, affordable meals. Cooking Matters is a six session course that combines hands-on cooking experience with nutrition education. Participants take home the ingredients for one recipe to make at home after each workshop. We will also offer Cooking Matters at the Store, a one-time workshop and is a virtual tour of the grocery store that stresses food label reading and how to make the most of your food dollar. Participants learn how to plan and budget for healthy, affordable, and delicious meals for their families.
Cooking Matters is recognized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for excellence in nutrition education.
